David Titterington
David is Artistic Director of the St Albans International Organ Festival, Head of Organ at the Royal Academy of Music, Organ Curator at St John's Smith Square and a Visiting Professor at the Liszt Academy, Budapest. He was brought up in Bolton and received early lessons in organ studies from William Morgan, a previous organist at Bolton Parish Church and was taught piano by Michael Greenhalgh, BCU's Musical Director. He also had connections with Bolton Little Theatre and was Musical Director for the production of 'Sing a Rude Song' which was produced by Jean Hansen. He was one of the first people to receive an Honorary Doctorate from Bolton University.
